“Lauren has the advantage of a 25 year business and entrepreneurial career. She is well liked and personable on the doorstep, a compassionate Conservative with her own unique levelling up success story. She is fearless and I have every confidence in her fighting the opposition”.

WHAT Lauren STANDs FOR

A committed Local Councillor diligently serving the community and holding the administration to account. A policy former for Covid recovery, working with Conservative MPs Steve Baker and Mark Harper. An advisory member of the Conservative Way Forward. Provider of expert ministerial briefs on housing. An active campaigner who achieved the highest number of Conservative votes in 140 wards of Surrey.

Exceptionally hard working. Lauren attributes her political and business success to hard work, grit and determination. Further demonstrated across her charity work and patronage at domestic violence charity Aurora New Dawn, who she has supported from inception to providing £9m of services.

Not a career politician. Bringing 25 years real life experience that voters crave from our Parliamentarians. Laurens true conservative story resonates on the doorstep. With an uncomplicated style to make things happen; advocating for investment and campaigning to solve problems Lauren gets things done.

Proud of her work with young people. By creating an aspirational culture in her Surrey-based company, Lauren encouraged employees from diverse backgrounds through a flourishing apprenticeship scheme and mentoring programme and can harness younger voters; the 55% under 45 who are historically more likely to vote labour.

Brave. Exhibiting resilience daily, running multiple priorities to tight deadlines and a confident decision maker. Lauren possesses the strength and mental preparation required to make decisions about the long-term sustainability of a community.

Financially astute. Outstanding elected representatives must be able to evaluate budgets and financial statements to comprehend the long-term taxation and budget consequences of financial decisions.

My commitments

I will be a voice for those who don’t have the confidence to speak up, and will get behind issues that really matter in my constituency.

I will bring honesty, integrity and my own uncomplicated style to politics. You will not find anyone more committed to responsibly serve our community and fight for our community.

I am passionate about delivering Conservative solutions to the problems of our society, upholding personal responsibility, freedom to choose, low and fair taxation and value for taxpayers’ money.

Family

I come from a working-class background in Portsmouth, where my parents taught me that anything was possible. I have lived in Leatherhead for the last 15 years.

I love spending time with my family; my partner Rob, my 14-year-old daughter, 10-year-old stepson, Ziggy the dog and a menagerie of adopted animals, including a giant African land snail and an abandoned snake! I have ‘collected’ people, as well as animals throughout my life and I have a large circle of wonderful friends and family, with whom I can share memories of every period of my life and bring together for parties. I have always invested time in fitness for wellbeing and keeping energy levels high for work and family life.
